Registrations are now open for the AFC School Teams Championships, to be held in Brisbane on 17 and 18 June 2017. This event offers the opportunity for the best school teams from across the country to compete against each other in a national competition.

Each State is permitted to enter two teams of three or four fencers for each event, while the host State can enter three teams. Additional teams can be entered (subject to conditions), until entries reach a total of sixteen teams. All fencers in each team must be from the same school.

Each match will be fenced to 45 hits in relay format. The competition is normally run in a pool format, however the specific format of the competition will be determined by the tournament organisers once the number of entries is known.

The event will be held at Yeronga State High School - for further details and the full event timetable, see the attached document.

The equipment requirements for this event are as set out in the AFF's Weapons Control Policy (click here).
